Soccer!

This Spring we decided to sign Spencer up for soccer. He LOVED it! We have been really impressed with his athletic skills! He really enjoyed having a friend, Chris, on the team with him. Coach Lori and Coach Chris were so fun! Spencer also had his first crush on a girl, who happened to be the coach's daughter. Her name is Audrey (blue jacket) and she used to find rocks and give them to Spencer. She knew the way to his heart!

For the first half of the game, they would play fun soccer games to get them used to dribbling and controlling their soccer balls, and then they would have a scrimmage. Spencer made a few goals and tackled a few kids, but all in all he did very well and had an enjoyable time!

Jillian was a trooper and usually slept through the games.

Now every time we see something with a soccer ball on it, Spencer yells, "Mom! Soccer!" Good times!
